TÜRKMENELI TV reports that IRAK TÜRKMEN KARDAŞLIK Kulüp, the Iraqi Turkmen Brotherhood Club in Baghdad, was raided by units belonging to the U.S. occupation forces aided by some 'Iraqi units'.
They broke into the Iraqi Turkmens Brotherhood Cultural Centre, terrifying the employees and forcing all the doors.
Türkmeneli TV showed the broken doors and scattered books, files and papers.
The U.S. Occupier did not give any 'reason' for this brutal raid.
IRAK TÜRKMEN KARDAŞLIK was established in Baghdad in 1960, it is the cultural meeting place for all Turkmens (it is not affiliated to any political or religious group).

In the north of Iraq, buildings and offices of Turkmen political parties, Turkmen cultural centres, and shops and businesses belonging to Turkmens have repeatedly been attacked and looted by the Kurdish militias since April 2003.
These criminal acts clearly demonstrate that Turkmens continue to be threatened and intimidated in Iraq and that U.S. forces and Kurdish peshmerga do not hesitate to use force on the peaceful and unarmed Turkmens.
